About TimeVP

Managing a team should not mean watching one.

TimeVP is an AI manager for workforce productivity. It tracks time automatically, turns it into signals a manager can act on, and gives founders a clear picture of the week without asking anyone to report on themselves.

What it is

Time tracking that does the manager’s homework

Most time trackers stop at the timesheet. They tell you that forty hours happened and leave you to work out what they meant. TimeVP starts there and keeps going: it watches for the patterns a good manager would notice, raises them while there is still time to do something, and writes the weekly summary you would otherwise spend Friday afternoon assembling.

It runs as a web app at app.timevp.com. Plans range from plain tracking to the full AI manager; see pricing for the breakdown.

Who it is for

Built for the people who answer for the week

  • Founders

You have a team, a runway and no time to run status meetings. You want to know who is stuck and where hours are leaking before it shows up in the numbers.

  • Managers

You are responsible for output you cannot see directly, especially with remote and hybrid teams. You want a weekly picture you can act on, not a dashboard you have to interpret.

  • Teams

You want credit for the work you actually do, timesheets that fill themselves, and a manager who notices when you are overloaded rather than when you are online.

How we think about productivity

Clarity for managers, dignity for the people doing the work

These are the rules we hold the product to. If a feature request breaks one of them, we say no.

  1. 1

    Trust over surveillance

Tracking that people resent gets gamed or switched off. We design for teams where the person doing the work is a user, not a subject.

  2. 2

    Signals over spying

Activity data on its own tells you someone was busy, not whether anything moved. TimeVP turns tracking into actions: a paused idle timer, a nudge, a note of praise, a timesheet ready to approve. Employees see their own data in their own portal; payroll and performance numbers stay with you.

  3. 3

    Nudge early, report weekly

Most problems are cheap to fix on Tuesday and expensive by the end of the quarter. TimeVP nudges while it still matters and sums the week up on Friday.

  4. 4

    Say less, mean it

We would rather tell you three things you can act on than thirty you have to filter. That goes for the product and for this website.

Where we are

We are early, and we would rather say so

TimeVP is a young product. Some details on this site, including final pricing, are still being confirmed, and the product is changing quickly based on what early teams tell us. If something here is unclear or you want to know whether TimeVP fits your team before you commit, ask. We answer.
